Admission & Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY

+2 or equivalent in Management or Science with at least 45 % marks or GPA 1.8 or more in aggregate with at least D+ Grades in all subjects in grade XI & XII can apply for BBA in DCM. Furthermore, aspirants have to pass the PUMAT cum Interview for the enrollment.

PUMAT-DCM

PUMAT stands for Purbanchal University Management Admission Test. The test is made by Purbanchal University and is self-administered by Dharan College of Management (DCM). It is an entrance exam for students who want to join Bachelor Program i.e. BBA in the field of Management after completing +2 in Management or Science stream. For admission in BBA (Bachelors in Business Administration) in Dharan College of Management, students must appear in the PUMAT Exam each year.

There shall be altogether 4 sections with one hundred (100) Multiple Choice Questions in the PUMAT containing twenty-five (25) questions carrying 1 mark each in every section. Student must secure a minimum of 45% in the PUMAT in order to qualify for the interview. The total time allotted for the test is 1.5 hrs. (90 minutes).

Scholarship Schemes

  • +2 Graduates from DHSS will get discount of Rs. 5,000/- at the time of admission in the 1st semester.
  • +2 Topper from DHSS will get 50% discount at the time of admission in the 1st semester.
  • Entrance topper will get Discount of Rs. 10,000/-.
  • Five 'A' grade & Four 'A' grade achievers in the semester end examination will get a discount of 100% and 50% respectively in the tuition fee of the concerned semester.

Internship, Academic Tour, Industrial Visit & Trainings

Internship is mandatory for BBA students for the partial fulfillment of their academic course. To meet such requirement students get opportunity to practice professional training in real organizational setting. During their studies, college manages industrial visits, trainings, tours and seminars to ensure them the practical aspects related to their classroom teaching and learning.
